Gabriel Garcia

Chef Gabe began working at this families restaurant as a boy until his senior year in high school. He then attended Johnson and Wales university in Miami Florida and finished in Providence Rhode island with a bachelor’s degree in the culinary arts. He worked at Davio’s in the Boston Royal Sonesta as well and doing an internship at Aldolfo’s in Malaga Spain. He then came back to Miguel’s in Sarasota in 2002 working his way up to executive chef. Gabe’s culinary passion has made Miguel’s famed for its homemade sorbets, soups, and tableside desserts.
